Company AI key and costs

Agents can respond in two ways: through the IA da plataforma (platform AI), included in Scrumboards and subject to a monthly run limit, or through the token do workspace (workspace token), your company's own AI key, billed directly to your provider account. All of this is in BrainPilot > Configurações (Settings), which requires the Criar e editar agentes (Create and edit agents) permission.

Choose the model and limit

  1. Open Configurações do BRAINPILOT (BrainPilot settings) and stay on the Configuração (Configuration) tab.
  2. At the top, IA em uso agora (AI in use now) shows who is responding.
  3. Under Modelo dos agentes (Agent model), choose between Claude Opus (most capable and most expensive), Claude Sonnet (the default), and Claude Haiku (fastest and cheapest).
  4. Adjust the Temperatura padrão (Default temperature), which sets how much responses vary.
  5. Under Limite mensal (Monthly limit), set the Execuções por mês (Runs per month) the platform AI can make. The Uso neste mês (Usage this month) bar shows consumption.
  6. Save your changes.

Add your company's token

  1. On the same screen, go to Tokens de IA (AI tokens) and click Adicionar token (Add token).
  2. Enter an Apelido (Nickname), choose the Provedor (Provider: OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or Other OpenAI-compatible) and, optionally, the Modelo (Model).
  3. Paste the key and use Testar (Test) to check the connection.
  4. Click Ativar (Activate).

With an active token, the platform's monthly limit no longer applies: runs are billed to your provider account. With an Anthropic token, the model is the one chosen in Modelo dos agentes; with another provider's token, the model from the token setup is used. Remember that agent web search only works with Anthropic AI.

Track costs

The Uso (Usage) tab shows Uso de IA (AI usage) for the Últimos 7 dias (Last 7 days), 30 dias, or 90 dias: calls, estimated cost, and breakdowns Por modelo (By model), Por agente (By agent), and Por função (By function). Values are estimates and don't replace your provider's invoice.

Frequently asked questions

The agents stopped responding at the end of the month. Why?

Your company probably reached the platform AI's monthly limit. Raise the limit or activate your own token.

Where do I store the key securely?

Only in the token field inside Scrumboards. Never send the key by chat or email.

What is the Outras IAs tab?

The Outras IAs (Other AIs) tab is where you connect external tools, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to Scrumboards.
