How to mark a deal as won or lost

To close a deal, open the lead in the CRM and click Ganho (Won) or Perdido (Lost). When you mark it Ganho, Scrumboards creates the client from the lead and, if your plan allows, a project for them. You can also drag the card to the Won or Lost column.

Mark as won

  1. In the CRM (CRM), click the lead's card.
  2. Review the details and click Ganho.
  3. The lead becomes a client. Use the Ver cliente (View client) shortcut in the notice to open the record.

If your plan doesn't allow more projects, the lead is still closed and the client is created, and the screen tells you the project wasn't created. You can create the project later from the client record.

Mark as lost

  1. Open the lead.
  2. Click Perdido.
  3. The screen confirms with Lead marcado como perdido (Lead marked as lost).

The won date

A won lead has a Data do ganho (Won date) field on its record. This date determines which period the lead counts toward in Ganhos (Won) on the CRM dashboard and in reports. If left blank, today's date is used when you save. If the sale happened on another day, pick the right date and click Salvar (Save).

In the CRM date filter, choose Data do ganho to list leads won in the period. Lost leads don't have their own lost date: they count by the lead's last update.

From the board

Dragging the card to a stage whose name contains “ganh” (such as Ganhamos, "We won") or “perd” (such as Perdemos, "We lost") also marks the lead as won or lost. See Sales pipeline and stages.

Frequently asked questions

The Won and Lost buttons don't appear. Why?

They only appear for open leads and for people whose role has the convert leads permission.

Does clicking Won again create another client?

No. After a win, the lead is closed and the button disappears, so there's no duplicate client.

Can I fix the date of an old win?

Yes. Open the lead, adjust the Data do ganho, and save.
