Accounts payable and receivable
In Scrumboards, every bill is an entry: income (receivable) or expense (payable). You create it in Financeiro › Lançamentos (Finance › Entries) with Novo lançamento (New entry) and track it on the Contas a Receber (Accounts receivable) and Contas a Pagar (Accounts payable) screens, which show what's scheduled, overdue, paid, or received.
Create an entry
- In the menu, open Financeiro and then Lançamentos.
- Click Novo lançamento.
- Choose the Tipo (Type): Receita (Income) or Despesa (Expense).
- Fill in Título (Title) and Valor (Amount), which are required, plus Vencimento (Due date), Competência (Accrual period), Categoria (Category), and Banco (Bank).
- Link income to a Cliente (Client) or an expense to a Fornecedor (Supplier).
- If the bill repeats, check Lançamento recorrente (Recurring entry) and choose the Frequência (Frequency, weekly to yearly) and the number of Repetições (Repetitions), or indefinite.
- Click Criar lançamento (Create entry).
Mark as paid or received
When money comes in or goes out, edit the entry and change the Status: Recebido (Received) for income, Pago (Paid) for expenses. The payment date is filled in automatically. The other statuses are Previsto (Scheduled), Vencido (Overdue), and Cancelado (Canceled).
Track due dates
- Contas a Receber shows income and helps you manage late payments.
- Contas a Pagar shows expenses and commitments.
- Filter by period (today, next 7 or 30 days, this month, and more), by bank, and by status, including overdue by 3, 7, or 14 days or more.
- On each row you can Editar (Edit), Duplicar (Duplicate), or Excluir (Delete).
- Select several rows to see their total. In Lançamentos, people who manage finance can edit several at once.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to add banks and categories first?
It's not required, but it helps with filters and cash flow. Add them in Financeiro › Bancos (Banks) and Financeiro › Categorias (Categories).
Can I export entries?
Yes, with Exportar CSV (Export CSV) in Entries, if your role has permission to export financial data.
Why can I only view, not edit?
Viewing and editing are separate permissions. See Who can see finance.
