Connect ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI (MCP server)

You can connect an outside AI app, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your own program, to Scrumboards through the MCP server. The simplest way is to add the address https://scrumboards.com.br/api/mcp as a connector in the app and sign in with your account. The connected AI acts as you: it never sees or does more than you already can on screen.

Where to find it

Click your photo at the top of the screen, then Agentes conectados (Connected agents). The page has the tabs Minhas chaves (My keys), Atividade (Activity), and Como conectar (How to connect). Admins and the owner also see Chaves da empresa (Company keys).

Connect with sign-in (recommended)

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps and add a custom MCP of the streaming HTTP type.
  2. Paste the address https://scrumboards.com.br/api/mcp and save.
  3. Choose to sign in, log in with your Scrumboards account, and click Autorizar (Authorize).
  4. Open a new conversation, turn on Scrumboards in the tools, and test with something like: List my overdue tasks.

Connect with a key

  1. In Agentes conectados, on the Minhas chaves tab, enter a Nome da chave (Key name).
  2. Under O que o agente pode fazer (What the agent can do), choose the level: Ler (Read, view only), Ler e criar (Read and create: creates tasks and projects, comments, changes status, assigns), or Completo (Full: also edits and moves to trash).
  3. Copy the address with the key. It's shown only once, so save it right away.
  4. In the AI app, paste this address and, for authentication, choose no sign-in.

If you lose the key, click Revogar (Revoke) and create a new one.

Frequently asked questions

Can the connected AI send email on my behalf?

Only at the Completo level, and the email is only sent after you approve it inside Scrumboards.

I see the Em fase piloto notice. What should I do?

That means "In pilot phase." Connected agents are still being rolled out company by company. When they reach yours, you can create your key on the same screen.

Can portal clients connect?

No. The connection is only for the company's team. People who have left the company also lose access.
