How to customize status, priority, and complexity

Task status, priority, and complexity options are set per company, in Configurações (Settings) > Personalização de Tarefas (Task customization). There's a tab for each: Status (Status), Prioridade (Priority), and Complexidade (Complexity). Administrators can edit everything; other roles can only edit the tabs they have permission for.

Edit the options

  1. In the menu, open Configurações and scroll down to Personalização de Tarefas.
  2. Choose the Status, Prioridade, or Complexidade tab.
  3. To create an option, click Adicionar opção (Add option) and fill in the Nome (Name). Pick the Cor (Color) and check the Preview (Preview).
  4. Drag rows by the handle on the left to change the order.
  5. To remove one, use the row's trash icon. Each list needs at least one option.
  6. Click Salvar (Save). The button is disabled if any name is empty or duplicated.

Complexity and estimated time

On the Complexidade tab, each option has extra fields that feed the timer and the overruns report:

  • Duração (Duration): the estimated time, in hours and minutes.
  • Auto-pause (× previsto) (Auto-pause (× estimate)): how many times the estimate the timer can run before pausing on its own.
  • Alertas (× previsto) (Alerts (× estimate)): at which multiples of the estimate you get notified. For example, 1,2,3 alerts at 1×, 2×, and 3×.
  • Orientações (o que pode / não pode ser feito) (Guidelines (what can / can't be done)): text that appears when you hover over the complexity on a task.

Status screen

There's also the Tarefas (Tasks) > Status screen, with the company's list of statuses. There you create one with Novo Status (New status), edit the title, value, and color, turn each status on or off under Ativo (Active), and delete the ones you no longer use.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I edit?

You'll see the message Você não tem permissão para editar essas opções. (You don't have permission to edit these options.) Ask your administrator to turn on the task customization permission for your role.

Does changing the list affect older tasks?

Yes, the options apply to the whole company. Before removing an option that's in use, move those tasks to another one.
