Team member vacation and offboarding

You change someone's status in Usuários → Membros (Users → Members), from the Situação do membro (Member status) menu on the person's row. There are four statuses: active, on vacation, inactive, and offboarded. Each has a different effect on access.

The four statuses

  • Ativo (Active): normal use.
  • Férias (Vacation): the person keeps access and is excluded from team follow-ups until they return. With a return date, they go back to active automatically once the date passes.
  • Inativo (Inactive): the person can't access the platform. Use it for a temporary pause.
  • Desligado (Offboarded): takes effect immediately. Open sessions are ended, the person can no longer sign in, and they're removed from the lists of people who can be assigned tasks. History stays: tasks, comments, and hours remain in place.

How to set someone on vacation

  1. Open Usuários → Membros.
  2. On the person's row, click the Situação do membro icon.
  3. Choose Colocar de férias… (Set on vacation…).
  4. Fill in Início (Start) and Volta em (Returns on).
  5. Click Marcar férias (Set vacation).

Without a return date, the vacation stays until someone undoes it with Registrar volta das férias (Record return from vacation).

How to offboard a team member

  1. In the same menu, choose Desligar colaborador… (Offboard team member…).
  2. Read the notice about what happens.
  3. Click Desligar (Offboard).

To undo it, use Marcar como ativo (Mark as active) in the same menu.

Offboard or remove?

Offboarding keeps the person in the list, with their status recorded. Remover membro (Remove member), the red icon on the row, takes the person out of the company, and they lose access to all projects and tasks. For someone who left the company, offboarding keeps a clearer record.

Frequently asked questions

Who can change someone's status?

Admins and anyone with the Ativar/inativar membros (Activate/deactivate members) permission. The company owner can't be offboarded.

Do inactive and offboarded people count toward the plan limit?

No. Only active people and those on vacation take up a seat on the plan. See Plans and limits.

Can I filter the list by status?

Yes. Next to the search, use the status filter to see, for example, only people on vacation.
