Rooms: team chat

Team chat lives in Rooms (Rooms) > Conversas (Conversations). There you talk in the general channel, in groups, in direct messages with coworkers, and with AI agents. To send messages, you need the Enviar mensagens (Send messages) permission.

Where each conversation is

The Canais & Membros (Channels & Members) sidebar organizes everything into:

  • general: the company-wide channel.
  • Grupos (Groups): conversations for a team or topic.
  • Agentes de IA (AI agents): your one-on-one conversation with each agent.
  • Mensagens Diretas (Direct messages): a conversation between you and one coworker.

Create a group

  1. In Conversas, use the create group option to open Criar Grupo (Create group).
  2. Type the Nome do grupo (Group name).
  3. Choose the Membros (Members) (at least one).
  4. Confirm. The group shows up under Grupos for its members.

Creating and deleting groups depend on the Criar canais/grupos (Create channels/groups) and Excluir canais/grupos (Delete channels/groups) permissions.

Write, mention, and edit

  1. Type in the box and use @ to mention a coworker or call an agent.
  2. To fix one of your messages, use the edit option; the box shows Editando mensagem (Editing message).
  3. To delete, use Excluir mensagem (Delete message) and confirm. Deletion can't be undone.
  4. In long conversations, click Carregar mensagens anteriores (Load earlier messages).

Direct message from the office

On the Pessoas (People) tab or the Escritório (Office) map, tap someone and choose Enviar mensagem (Send message) or Chamar (áudio/vídeo) (Call (audio/video)).

Frequently asked questions

Can my coworkers read my conversation with an agent?

No. Your conversation with an agent is private to you. Use Ver conversa do time (View team conversation) or call the agent with @ in a group to work together.

I only see the conversation with the finance agents. Why?

Some finance team members only have access to the conversation with the finance agents, without the rest of the office. This is set by their role.

Can I make a video call from the chat?

Yes, using the coworker's Chamar (áudio/vídeo) option. For larger meetings, see How to hold a video meeting.
