How to hold a video meeting

To hold a video meeting, open Rooms (Rooms), go to the Reuniões (Meetings) tab, and click Nova reunião (New meeting). Rooms use peer-to-peer audio and video and work best with up to 6 participants on camera.

Create and join the meeting

  1. In Rooms > Reuniões, click Nova reunião.
  2. Give it a Título (Title) and, if you like, choose an office Ambiente (Space) (or leave it as Sem ambiente (No space)). Click Abrir (Open).
  3. Check your devices: choose your Microfone (Microphone) and Câmera (Camera). If you prefer, check Entrar com microfone mudo (Join muted) or Entrar com câmera desligada (Join with camera off).
  4. Click Entrar na reunião (Join meeting).
  5. To bring in coworkers, use Convidar da equipe (Invite from team). Only the meeting creator can invite and admit people.

Meetings in progress are marked Ao vivo (Live), and anyone on the team can join from there.

During the meeting

  • Share your screen and use Parar de apresentar a tela (Stop presenting) to end it.
  • Use Levantar a mão (Raise hand) to ask to speak.
  • Open Mensagens da reunião (Meeting messages) for the room chat.
  • Write the Pauta (Agenda) and Anotações (Notes) and click Salvar (Save).
  • Use Gravar a reunião (Record meeting): everyone in the room sees that the meeting is being recorded, and the file stays only on your computer.
  • Generate a Resumo (Summary) and use Criar tarefa (Create task) to turn decisions into tasks.

You can switch tabs in Rooms without dropping the call. To go back, click Voltar para a reunião (Back to meeting).

After the meeting

The creator can use Encerrar a reunião (End meeting). Ended meetings go to the Histórico de reuniões (Meeting history), with agenda, notes, and duration.

Frequently asked questions

My camera or microphone isn't working.

Check that your browser has permission to use them and pick the right device before joining. On very restricted networks, the connection may fail.

Can I invite someone without a Scrumboards account?

Yes, with the guest link. See Invite an outside guest to a meeting.

Where is the recording saved?

On your computer, downloaded when you stop recording. It isn't saved in Scrumboards.
