How to invite people to your company

You can bring someone into your company in two ways, both in Usuários (Users) > Membros (Members): with Criar Usuário (Create user), which adds the person and sends an email invitation, or with Link de Convite (Invite link), which creates a link you can send however you like. Both buttons are only active for administrators or people with permission to invite members.

Invite by email (Create user)

  1. In the menu, open Usuários > Membros.
  2. Click Criar Usuário.
  3. Fill in Primeiro Nome (First name), Sobrenome (Last name), and E-mail. Phone, birthday, job title, and address are optional.
  4. Choose the Papel (Role), for example Administrador (Administrator), Moderador (Moderator), or Usuário (User).
  5. Password: if you leave it blank, the person gets an email with a link to create their own password. If you fill it in (at least 6 characters), share it with them through a secure channel.
  6. Click to save. The message Usuário criado com sucesso! (User created successfully!) confirms it.

If you see a warning that the invitation email wasn't sent, the account was still created. In that case, let the person know another way.

Invite by link

  1. In Usuários > Membros, click Link de Convite.
  2. Under Criar novo link de convite (Create new invite link), choose the Papel, the number of Usos máx. (Max uses; blank = unlimited), and when the link Expira em (Expires in): 1, 7, 30, or 90 days.
  3. Create the link and use the copy button. Send the link to the people you want to invite.
  4. The person opens the link, chooses Entrar (Sign in) or Criar conta (Create account), and then Aceitar convite (Accept invitation).

The same window shows Links ativos (Active links). You can copy one again or delete a link when you no longer want it to work.

Frequently asked questions

I see "Limite de membros atingido". What should I do?

That means "Member limit reached." Your plan has a maximum number of members. See Plans and limits. Client portal access doesn't take up a member seat.

The person already has a Scrumboards account at another company.

No problem. Invite them with the same email: your company will appear in their company switcher. If they're already a member, the system will let you know.

Can I bring in someone from another company I manage?

Yes, with Associar Membro (Link member) on the same screen: choose the people and the role, then click Associar (Link).
